The Benidorm Masters Cup was first held in 2005.
All teams are formed into groups of 4 or 5 teams and play with each other.
All participants go to the next round, depending of position in the group, which guarantees at least of 4 matches per team.
Teams that took 1st or 2nd place in the group round will play in the final stage A.
The rest teams from the group get into the final round B.
Games in the final stages are held on the knock-out basis.
Each player receives a medal and diploma as participant of the Benidorm Masters Cup.
The winners of the tournament in each age category, as well as the teams that took second place are awarded with cups and medals.
The best player is awarded with a prize in each final match.
The best team in the tournament according to the organizers opinion gets the special prize.
