In summer, the temperature is comfortable and the mountain air is fresh, which is ideal for football competitions for children. | Platres Cup has been organised since 2013. This great history of opposing clubs from many countries is recognised as one of the most popular events in our region. | There are several divisions of strength in each age group, from the very challenging Eagles competition to the beginner’s games in the Tigers. For all teams there is a final round after the group stage where matches are played on a knock-out basis. | All participating teams will receive a team photo. Commemorative medals will be awarded to all children. In each age the teams from top two places will receive cups and medals, and those reaching the semi-finals will be awarded with individual prizes. | If you like, we can organise friendly games or excursions to local attractions: waterfalls, medieval monasteries, wineries, national nature reserves or farms. Plus, you can head to the coast in Limassol to swim in the sea and see the famous Limassol Castle.
