You will get incredible pleasure from football on natural fields and from our beautiful hospitable land! | The 1st edition of the tournament was celebrated in 2000. The Pyrenees Cup founder Manuel Romero, was the Scout Manager for Real Madrid CF in Catalonia area, so it was an idea to bring the best talents in the region to be easily spotted to bring to Madrid. That is how players like Marco Asensio, Marc Bartra, David López, Aleix Vidal… among others played the Pyrenees Cup when they were kids! | First, the teams go through the group stage, where in a group of 5-6 teams each team plays with others once. After that, depending on the place in the group, all teams will continue playing for elimination in the next final stages of the games for the Gold or Silver Cup. There, in case of a draw, a 3-shot penalty shootout is made. | Rewards for: Most valuable player in each category! Top scorer in each category! Fair Play prize in each category!
Each player is awarded with a medal and each team receives the Pyrenees Cup! | Lower Cerdanya – Komarca – is on the Spanish side, and Upper Cerdanya is an enclave in France with the capital of Llivia! Our main attractions are the Alps! There are many tourists hiking trails that you can easily enjoy. You will also love the fortress of Mont Louis, the bell tower in Puigcerda, climbing routes – you will be delighted with the trip to us!
