Several hundred teams from many countries from all over the world take part in Donosti Cup annually.
A competition consists of a group stage, where usually 4 teams fight in a group.
The first two teams get into the Champions League round.
3rd and 4th place participate in the consolation stage of Play Off B.
The categories B18 and G18 have rules that 3 players older than a year are allowed to participate.
The categories B13-B16 and G14-G16 have a right of only 2 older players in a team.
The first two places in each age category are awarded with cups and medals.
Each team receives a prize.
