The Newcastle International Summer Cup provides aspiring footballers with the opportunity to test their abilities in a high-level competition at the top-tier sports facilities of Newcastle University’s Cochrane Park.

This international football event attracts clubs from the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond.

Situated in one of England’s most football-driven cities, Newcastle University’s playing grounds received a significant enhancement in May 2019, introducing three cutting-edge artificial pitches alongside three impeccably maintained natural grass fields.

This elite venue offers the ultimate setting for squads to demonstrate their talent and compete at the highest level.

Each participant plays a minimum of three group-stage matches before progressing to the knockout rounds.

The top-ranked teams advance to the Gold Cup Finals, while those finishing lower in the group move on to the Silver Plate Finals.

The winner of the tournament takes away the Cup, plus the whole team will be awarded with gold medals.

Runners-up and third-place finishers are presented with silver and bronze medals, while winners of the consolation final stage claim the Silver Plate.

All footballers receive commemorative medals for participation.
